The PETA Report (And About Time Too!)

Alright, I am FINALLY feeling better and as such I am finally giving you all my report of the chat I had with our friend from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Before I go into anything I am gonna link the sites I got some of my info from.  Now before anyone mentions it, I am going to say yes at a first glance my information does look biased.  However with the proof that the websites provide they seem to be reputable.

Now I really don't need to defend any information I got from this website as since our PETA spokesperson said on live radio, "Yes." When I asked him whether or not the allegations about PETA committing euthanasia on animals themselves was true or not.  One source out of the way.  On a side not, if you go to Google and put 'peta truth' in the search bar, this website is the FIRST result.  That made me laugh for 15 mintues straight the first time I came upon this. =)

This is the website where I got my quotes said by PETA's president Ingrid Newkirk.  If you go to the 'Key Players' section and locate her name you should be able to find what you need to find.  The site also has some nifty little tid-bits on the organization itself.

This is probably the biggest website I got information from as I devoted an entire section (and a bit more) of the interview to showing PETA how much this website pissed me the fuck off.  If anyone wants to know how to reach the lovely 'Boycoot Canadian Maple Syrup' page here is how:
1. Click the 'Why is Canada Killing Seals?' link
2. go near the bottom of the page and click on the 'Pledge to boycott Canadian maple syrup now!' link

Alright so those are the main website that I got my information from, and I must say I am happy about how the interview went.  This is mainly because, at least to me, our PETA spokesperson made PETA look like what I believe it to be; a bullshit organization that really does nothing more than piss people off.  Sure they do a few good things every now and again, but the damage they do outweighs the good.  Do yourself a favor and help the Center for Consumer Freedom get rid of PETA's tax exempt status by signing the petition at the link below.  I did.
