Alright, so November's Game of the Month is Assassin's Creed 2, a game I have been looking forward to since this trailer was released at E3:

So I waited with growing anticipation until the release date of November 14th. Hell I even got off my rear end and PREORDERED the game! However what I did not realize was that the release date was while I was going to be on vacation! For a moment I thought all was lost, but low and behold I had my father pick it up for me, what a wonderful guy he is =)
So now onto the actual game itself. In Assassin's Creed 2 you are again playing as Desmond Miles, as man who has the memories of his assassin ancestors embedded within his DNA. On a positive note, you are not going to be running through the Altair memory chain again, instead the assassin ancestor we are exploring is Ezio Auditore De Firenze, an Italian man from the Renaissance. You begin before Ezio was an assassin and progress with him through his life.
So now that you know the story, onto the gameplay:
Free-Run Mode - This was an amusing thign about Assassin's Creed one; being able to run around on rooftops stabbing random guards that tell you to get down. The Free Run is essentially the exact same thing as it was in the first game, which is disappointing because I think there is so many things they could have expanded on.
Missions - Instead of the boring-ass, repetitive missions that you played in Assassin's Creed one, in Creed #2 the story is extremely long that it is hard to notice the repetitiveness behind it. However in the end it all comes down to follow this person, stab this person, hide from these people. Again, disappointing.
Graphics - on a whole the graphics were good, excellent in fact when in gameplay. However for the video graphics they were horribly lacking, which again makes me sad.
Even though the game was disappointing in quite a few aspects I did enjoy it quite a bit (I mean everyone knows I LOVE to run around stabbing people!) so if you liked Creed one because of the gameplay, then I advise you buy and play this.
My rating:
6/10
