Now then, for February, the game of the month is surprisingly, and Xbox 360 exclusive game. Meaning you can only play it on the Xbox 360 (sadly...). What is it you ask? Well it is none other than Left4Dead 2.
Maybe it's just the fact that I am a huge geek, but any video game that involves lots of guns, chainsaws, axes, and other blood and gore causing weapons is great in my books. Add in the fact that this game also includes ZOMBIEZZZZ as your targets so said blood and gore, and well lets just say you've got one happy gamer.
Now I am not usually one for FPS (First-Person Shooter for those of you who don't know) games as I suck at moving, shooting, and aiming all at once (YES THE GEEK SUCKS AT SOMETHING IN A VIDEO GAME!?!?!) however the controls for Left4Dead 2 where quite easy for me to use.
The graphics are great on the game, the co-op campaigns are great (lets hope people stick as a team and don't wander -_-).
Now it is time for the criticism....
I'll be honest, the added 'special' monsters that are in the game (that being Tank, Hunter, and Witch) are a little well...added in my opinion. In a real zombie-pocalypse, there are going to be no witches running around controlling the undead, and every zombie will be hunting anything still living. Only the tank is really justifiable as when those guys who take steroids turn into the undead....oh boy start running.
However the graphics and gameplay for the game are works of art. And for those of you wondering how much I really enjoyed playing it...this game could make me purchase and Xbox 360 for myself o.o
(For those who are now wondering I play this with my friends on their Xboxs :P)
