Sorry for not posting this yesterday, but I was busy with Dr. Deschanel for his show in Vancouver. Anyway, onto the topic at hand...
Sitting at number three on my list of the Top 10 Games of 2010 is: Starcraft 2!!!
Starcraft 2 is a Real Time Strategy game created by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the sequel to their original, Starcraft, and it does not disappoint to say the least. In Starcraft 2 you play as one of three races, Terran (which are the Starcraft equivalent to humans), the Zerg (an alien race that wants nothing more than to kill everything), and the Protoss (a race of aliens with extremely advanced technologies) and wage war against your enemies.
It is basically your classic style RTS game with it's own races, units, and maps. However don't let this make you think it is a boring game. The campaign is an extremely fun, ride alongside a rebel by the name of Jim Raynor who is doing his best to survive, while at the same time free the Terran from their oppressive ruler Arcturus Mengsk.
The multiplayer is actually quite fun and includes 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and Free For All modes. All modes (except for FFA) are ranked so that you end up playing agaisnt other players with your caliber of skill.
Overall Starcraft 2 is a great game, and does what has been expected of the long awaited sequel to Starcraft. On a side note though, this game is only available for the PC!!
