I am not sure if anyone has noticed, but today the internet is taking a stand against two things that could very well ruin what we all love and enjoy. These things are the bills SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act).
Many websites around the internet including Reddit, some facets of Youtube and more are standing up for what they believe in and have shut themselves down today in protest of these bills. Now why exactly have they shut themselves down? Simply because that is what will happen to these websites should these laws get passed.
You can all currently go to www.Reddit.com where it has links where you can learn more about these bills. Form your own opinion about whether or not you feel these bills should be passed, and if you are against them I urge you to do something if possible.
