The Sad Truth of SW:tOR

Well...it's been about 4-5 months since the release of Star wars: the Old Republic, and I have discovered a few unfortunate things about the game.

Through the months I have played the game I have leveled many different characters, and have had plenty of fun doing so.  Honestly going from character creation to max level in SWTOR is more fun than doing so in any other MMORPG I have played to date.  The fact that you are thrust into engaging stories as you level holds your attention, and pushes you to get everything done and get to max level.

And here is where we have our problem.  What do you do when everything is done?  What is there for you when you hit the level cap and run out of story quests to do?  Unfortunately the answer is next to nothing.  Currently there are 2 Operations (Raids) and 3 different PvP Battlegrounds.  While I will say that I am not expecting much from the game as it hasn't even been out for 6 months, as the game stands right now there is nothing to keep me playing.

This is not to say I did not have fun in the time I spent playing though.  A philosophy I hold with gaming is that if you spend one hour playing a game for every dollar you spent on it than it was more than worth your time and money.  And I can safely say that I put in at least 2-3 hours for every dollar I put in.

Tomorrow the 1.2 content patch will be released for the game.  This patch is suppose to add a new PvP Battleground, as well as finally implement the Legacy system into the game.  I hope all of you still playing enjoy what the patch has for you.  As for me, I am off to another galaxy.
